Friday's Photo: Little League

My grandson asked to play baseball this fall. Tomorrow is his first game.

That sent me looking through some old photographs, and I found this one of my husband in his baseball uniform, taken about 1960 at a U.S. Army installation located in Newport News, Virginia. It seemed like the perfect photo to share tonight.

One reason I enjoy Friday’s Photo posts is that so many family pictures get tucked away in albums, boxes, and computer folders and are rarely seen again. Sometimes something happening today reminds me of a photograph from years ago and gives me a reason to go looking through those old photos.

Tomorrow I’ll be watching our grandson take the field for his first game. Tonight, I’m sharing a baseball moment from another generation.
