Friday's Photo: Carrie Lou Murph Woodard of Bienville Parish, Louisiana



Mary Virginia Smith took this photo in 1943. Carrie Lou Murph Woodard was the fifth child of Edwin Britton and Alice Martha Wimberly Murph (daughter of Charles Perry Wimberly). Carrie was born 15 Sept 1887 and married John Marshall Woodard in 1905. They had five children; Vance, Bess, Emile, Guy, and Mary Stella. 

Carrie Lou and John Marshall are buried in Providence Cemetery, Ringgold, Bienville Parish.

    1. Hi Mary, I love the Mary Virginia Smith collection. She told me she was a photographer and took many photos in the Bienville area.
