Marshall and Allen Woodard [1] |
Joseph Allen Woodard was the oldest of six brothers, born in 1883 to Joseph E. Woodard and Emma V. Morgan. [2] John Marshall was born next followed by
Whitcomb Burr, Alfred Ernest, James Neal, and Don Corles. [3]
Mary McMullen, a descendant of John Marshall, wrote that the two young men, Allen and Marshall, married sisters. Allen married Willie Bessie Murph and Marshall married Carrie Lou Murph, daughters of Ed Murph and Alice Wimberly Murph. [4]
These photos were from the Marguerite Cook Clark collection and found in an album and labeled by Marguerite's mother, Maggie Martin Cook. Maggie's identification of so many photos has been spot on. It helps that she knew so many of those seen in the photos.
