Friday's Photo: Whit Criswell Bryan, A Veteran of Three Wars and a Pearl Harbor Survivor


Whit Criswell Bryan 1920-2001
This photograph was taken on his last day in the Navy.[1] 


My father, Whit Criswell Bryan was Born in Seymour, TX on December 21, 1920, he lived in Borger, TX before joining the U.S. Navy in 1940.  A Chief Petty Officer (HMC), he was a veteran of three wars and a Pearl Harbor survivor. In 1967 he served with the 3rd Marine Division in Vietnam.  He retired from the Navy in 1969.[2]
