Friday's Photo: The Trott Sisters, Lillie Mae and Allie Belle, of Bienville Parish, Louisiana

This beautiful photo of the Trott sisters, Lillie Mae and Allie Belle, was found in the Frye family collection.[1] Photos from the same photography session were found in Marguerite Cook Clark's collection.[2]

These photos were taken sometime around 1900 as Lillie Mae was born in 1895 and Allie Belle in 1896. The sisters were the daughters of William Jackson Trott and Lula Laura Cook.[3]

The connection between the Frye family and Marguerite Cook Clark is through the Lula Laura's Bryan and Cook families. Both Lula Laura Cook and Marguerite Cook Clark are direct descendants of my great-great-grandparents Reddick Bryan and Elizabeth Regan.[4]

On the Cook side, the families were distantly related through Phillip Henry Cook of South Carolina and Mississippi.[5]

Note that Allie Belle married Charles Jefferson Frye.[6]
