Terrell and Harriet Albritton Bryan |
Marguerite Cook Clark 1913 - 1989 |
I couldn't believe the photos that we were
finding in that old domed trunk that once belonged to Marguerite Cook Clark. At the bottom, there were more photographs of
my great-grandparents, Terrell and Harriett Albritton Bryan, and some of their
children. My cousin, Sharon, saw these first. Terrell and Harriet were her
great-great-grandparents.
These photos were taken at the same time
as the photos found in Terrell
and Harriet's Bible and others found in Marguerite's
photo album. However, in this photo of Harriet, she is wearing a
rather large bonnet. AND, on the back, in very faint writing, is Terrel and H. L. Bryan
Stephenvile, Texas age 65 May 1899.
So many of these newly found photos were
sent to Marguerite's great-grandmother, Sarah Wimberly Bryan and, thankfully,
preserved for four more generations.
Watch for more posts from the files of
Marguerite Cook Clark. If you are a Bryan family researcher, you are in for a
treat!
